We started getting lots of phone calls and emails from people wanting to have a simple Key West wedding on a particular Sunday in October ..... not a typically busy time of year down here. And then we realized ...... it’s 10-10-10. Well, it was a glorious day. Nice breeze, lots of sunshine. Actually, a little bit too much sunshine. Brock, the groom, was having trouble keeping his eyes open for their photographs after his and Mandy’s wedding ceremony. So I suggested sitting in the shade under and convenient coconut palm for a few photos. No sooner did they sit down and a coconut fell out of the tree and landed right between us... luckily missing everyone involved, and providing a good laugh all around and an excellent Souvenir Key West Wedding Coconut. So remember, if a particular Key West photographer suggests that you sit under a coconut tree for a few photographs..................... think twice.
